From Courtside to Planeside

Memphis International Airport is in the midst of rebuilding several aspects and areas of the airport. We’ve sought out to find the perfect voice to help drum up support for the campaign. At the same time, the Memphis Tigers Men’s Basketball team was also undergoing a rebuilding process. They had just signed the superstar legend Penny Hardaway as their coach. Memphis as a whole took notice and was inspired by the news of Penny. After landing several top recruits, he became the perfect partner for the airport.

We created this campaign around him to portray Penny as the coach of the airport. We announced the partnership during one of the board meetings with Penny and the media present. After that we flooded all the local advertising channels with our messaging so all Memphians were sure to take notice. Penny was now moving from the Courtside to the Planeside in support of bettering MEMphis. We created: Billboards, Handouts, Digital Ads, Social Media Ads, Videos, Television Spots, and much more.
